
Mr. Md. Enayet Ullah joined the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) as Director General on 14 July 2025. Prior to assuming this position, he served as Additional Director General (East) of the Bangladesh Water Development Board.
He was born into a respected Muslim family in Pabna District. His father was Md. Abdul Karim and his mother Jamila Khatun. He passed his SSC from Pabna Zilla School and HSC from Pabna Edward College. He obtained his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from BIT, Khulna, presently known as Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET).
Mr. Md. Enayet Ullah joined theBangladesh Water Development Board on 21 June 1993 as an Assistant Engineer(Civil) and served with dedication and sincerity at various levels throughouthis career. He worked as a Sub-Divisional Engineer (Civil) in Gaibandha,Lalmonirhat, and Boalmari sub-division. As an Executive Engineer, he performedsignificant responsibilities in the Lalmonirhat Water Development Division. Atthe Head Office, he served as Executive Engineer in the Cluster Projects,Design Circle-1, Design Circle-5, and Planning-1, where he held importantresponsibilities. Subsequently, he served as a Superintending Engineer (Civil) atDirectorate of Programme. He also held the important position of Chief Engineer(Civil) of the Chief Engineer, Design and Research of BWDB.
Mr. Md. Enayet Ullah has receivedtraining at various institutions and universities both at home and abroad.Notable among them are training in Capacity Development of Management forSustainable Water in Japan and Financial Management in Indonesia. In addition,he completed numerous professional training programs within the country duringhis service career.
